Softwashing & Facade Cleaning

Low-Pressure Cleaning for Any Building Surface.

Safe, thorough softwashing for roofs, facades, building structures, and towers — without the force damage of pressure washing.

Surface Cleaning

Built for every exterior — roof to tower.

DronePower1 brings the same precision and equipment discipline from drone solar cleaning to full-surface exterior washing. Softwashing treats biological growth at the source — algae, mold, mildew, and lichen — so results last rather than just rinsing dirt to the next surface down.

From single-story stucco homes to multi-story commercial facades, tower structures, and tilt-up industrial buildings, we scope each job around access, surface type, and contamination level before any equipment touches the building.

Roof Cleaning

Tile, foam, shingle, and flat roofs — treated without walking the surface or risking damage.

Facade Cleaning

Stucco, EIFS, metal cladding, and painted exteriors cleared of biological growth and airborne buildup.

Building Structures

Tilt-up panels, canopies, awnings, and large commercial exteriors cleaned without disrupting operations.

Towers

Elevated and hard-to-reach structures cleaned with drone-assisted positioning to reduce workers at height.

Softwashing FAQ

Common questions about exterior softwashing.

What surfaces can softwashing be used on?

Softwashing is safe on virtually any exterior surface — roofing materials (tile, foam, shingle, TPO), stucco and EIFS facades, concrete tilt-up panels, metal cladding, and painted or coated building skins. The low-pressure delivery means no force damage, even on older or delicate substrates.

How is softwashing different from pressure washing?

Pressure washing removes surface dirt through water force. Softwashing uses a low-pressure application with a cleaning solution to break down biological growth — algae, mold, mildew, lichen — at the root level so it rinses away completely. Results last longer because the contamination is treated rather than just blasted off.

Can you clean towers and tall structures safely?

Yes. Our drone-assisted equipment positions spray applicators precisely, reducing the need for workers at height on towers, antennae, and multi-story building faces. For ground-accessible facades we use standard softwashing rigs; for elevated or hard-to-reach surfaces we apply drone-delivered water where appropriate.

What is the typical cleaning cadence for a commercial facade?

Most commercial facades in the Coachella Valley benefit from annual or biannual cleaning given the airborne silica, dust, and biological load in the desert environment. Buildings near agricultural areas, canals, or golf courses may accumulate contamination faster and benefit from a quarterly schedule.

Is softwashing safe for newly painted or recently coated buildings?

Yes, when properly applied. We use pH-balanced, biodegradable cleaning solutions formulated for exterior surfaces and adjust concentration based on the substrate and coating type. We can review paint spec sheets or coating data on request before the visit.
