Terms of Service
What you agree to when you book a DronePower1 drone solar cleaning.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DronePower1's website and drone solar panel cleaning services. By submitting a booking, quote request, or contacting us to schedule service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them before booking.
1. Who We Are
DronePower1 LLC is a veteran-owned aerial solar cleaning company operating under FAA Part 107 certification. We clean residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar panels using drone-mounted deionized-water systems. All flight operations are conducted by licensed pilots.
2. Services
DronePower1 provides the following services:
- Residential drone solar panel cleaning — rooftop arrays on single-family homes.
- Commercial drone solar panel cleaning — flat-roof and ground-mount commercial arrays.
- Utility-scale solar cleaning — large ground-mount installations by quote.
- Soft washing and window cleaning — where offered in your service area.
All services are subject to site assessment and weather conditions at our discretion. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a job if our operators determine that safe, quality service cannot be performed.
3. Booking and Scheduling
Bookings are made through our website via the Zenbooker platform or by calling 303-406-2220. A booking confirmation sent to your email or phone constitutes a scheduled appointment, not a guarantee of service — final confirmation is subject to weather and pilot availability.
We will contact you to confirm your appointment window 24–48 hours before your scheduled date. If we are unable to reach you, we may attempt service as scheduled and leave a completion notice if no one is present.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Customer cancellations — cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a trip fee of up to $50 if a crew has already been dispatched.
- Weather holds — if wind speeds exceed safe operating limits, rain is forecast, or conditions prevent safe flight, we will reschedule at no charge. You will be notified as early as possible.
- Access issues — if our crew arrives and cannot safely access the work area due to locked gates, aggressive animals, or obstructions you did not disclose, the appointment may be marked incomplete and a trip fee may apply.
5. Site Access Requirements
To complete your service, you agree to:
- Provide clear, unobstructed access to the exterior of the property and a safe area to set up ground equipment.
- Notify us in advance of any known roof hazards, restricted areas, HOA rules, or obstacles such as satellite dishes, skylights, or overhanging trees.
- Ensure any pets are secured and off the roof area during the service window.
- Provide access to an outdoor water connection if DI water delivery is not included in your service package.
Our operators do not walk on roofs as part of normal service. No roof access is required from you. If a ground-level water hookup is needed, a standard garden hose bib is sufficient.
6. Pricing and Payment
Pricing is based on panel count and property type. Current standard rates are available on our website. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Final pricing may be adjusted after an on-site assessment if the scope differs materially from what was described at booking.
- Residential — per-panel rate applies; minimum service charge applies per visit.
- Commercial — base rate plus per-panel rate; quoted per job for larger arrays.
- Payment — processed via Zenbooker at time of booking or upon service completion as confirmed in your booking. We accept major credit and debit cards. We do not store payment credentials.
7. Photography and Media
DronePower1 routinely captures before-and-after photos and aerial footage of each job for quality documentation and our customer records. These are shared with you upon request. By booking our services, you grant DronePower1 permission to use anonymized or property-level imagery for marketing purposes (website, social media, case studies) unless you explicitly opt out at the time of booking.
All drone flight operations comply with FAA Part 107 regulations. We do not capture imagery beyond the scope of the work area.
8. Pre-Existing Conditions and Liability
DronePower1 is not responsible for pre-existing damage to solar panels, roof tiles, mounting hardware, wiring, or other property components. We recommend you inspect your system before service and note any existing damage in writing. If our operators observe significant pre-existing damage during setup, they may document it and inform you before proceeding.
Our cleaning process involves no roof contact, low-pressure deionized water, and does not use detergents or abrasive materials. We take reasonable care to avoid any property damage. In the unlikely event that damage occurs as a direct result of our operations, please contact us within 72 hours of service so we can assess the claim.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DronePower1's total liability for any claim arising out of a service visit is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. We are not liable for loss of energy production, consequential damages, or claims arising from conditions beyond our control.
9. Service Results
Cleaning results depend on the condition of your panels, the amount of soiling, and environmental factors. DronePower1 does not guarantee a specific percentage improvement in energy output. We do guarantee that the cleaning will be performed with professional care using deionized water, and that a quality check will be completed before we leave the site.
10. FAA Compliance
All drone operations are conducted under FAA Part 107 certification. Flights are limited to the immediate work area. We obtain any required airspace authorizations before operating. Customers are responsible for notifying DronePower1 of any local airspace restrictions, temporary flight restrictions (TFRs), or HOA rules affecting drone operations at the property.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on dronepower1.com — including text, images, logos, and video — is the property of DronePower1 LLC and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms are effective when posted. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will note the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the courts of Laramie County, Wyoming, or through binding arbitration as mutually agreed.
